Plink Question
When buying multiple GCs (each GC is over $100) at Staples and ringing them up as seperate transactions, does Plink give 300 points per GC or just 300 points for the overall visit to staples?

300 points per GC. But be careful because it might raise suspicious activities to your CC issuer.

I purchased 10 $200 gc at staples and got the lady to do a split tender on each card, used 2 diff ink bold from same account, got a call from chase. Won't be doing that again haha
It's not worth risking something like that with such a great card issuer like chase. |
I made 15 109.90$ transactions at Sears during their promo... all the plink points posted as expected

You created two chase logins for each ink crad just for plink! Wow that is too much work!

I have had to contact plink to manually add points when using my Chase Freedom. They claim that communication between chase and plink is down, yet when I enter my login info, everything seems alright.
Anyone else experienced this ? |

I haven't had any points post on my account since 11/6, even though I have had 10+ transactions at Staples.
On a related note, how does Plink handle returns? Returns are supposed to (according to their FAQ) lead to the points being taken away like with CC rewards or portal cash back. They should have no problem detecting the return unless you can get the store to give you a refund other than by returning to your CC. You might be able to get a GC with a receiptless return, but stores generally ask for ID when you do this to prevent people from returning shoplifted goods and they will cut you off if you do it too much. Since they give you the points a lot faster than a portal, I'm not sure what would happen if you had a negative balance and stopped using Plink. They might just write it off (though they could probably in theory send your account to collections), but I don't think it's worth it to find out because it's too good of a long-term thing to mess up. I've never personally returned anything that I got Plink points for. You created two chase logins for each ink crad just for plink! Wow that is too much work! 300 points per GC. Am I the only one who's not so keen on giving my CC login information out in order to plink? Anybody have any issues so far?

I buy at most 3 or 4 each visit with separate transactions (per GC) and one time 2 separate stores on 1 day. I haven't gotten a call from Chase. Maybe that's under their radar.
