Will I have long immigration lines on a NYC-FRA-MXP/ZRH connection tomorrow in First? Any difference between LH248 FRA-MXP or LH1186 FRA-ZRH? Leaning towards ZRH which offers the possibility of LX direct in case of IRROPS.

Going from FRA to ZRH or MXP would make no difference the immigration time is to enter schengen….. If you arrive in F at FRA you can exit & go to FCT, they will drive you from there to your connecting flight, you need more than 1 hour on the ground for this.

As a usual Oneworld flyer, I appreciate any help here as I have not much experience with FRA. I have (on a single ticket) a J BER-FRA LH flight, then a 6 hour connection to F FRA-SIN on LH. I want to spend most of the connecting time at the First Class Terminal and I know how to get there. My question is if it is possible first to visit the First Class Lounge in the Terminal (A13) before heading to the First Class Terminal on my connection or if I should expect any issues with a double F Lounge visit?

Easy peesy
Update my transfer at FRA. My flight on two separate awards SQ JFK-FRA and BA FRA-LHR. At check in JFK, they send luggage directly to final destination in Heathrow. No issues about this. At FRA, we stayed airside. Took air train from T1 to T2, then pass T2 mini security, only 4 people in front of us. T2 only have small groups of security checks, no central one. After that, you go to the gate and get your second boarding pass. They do not have a central transfer location. Probably took about 30 minutes to walk and take the train. We are a slow group, everyone passes us!

We have a long layover at Frankfurt arriving early in the morning and was hoping to go through transfer security and using the senator lounge for breakfast and a shower before heading to the city for the day.
Also, does anybody know if it's possible to leave our carry on in the locker at the lounge while we go to the city?

Not very seamless in general.

That’s a very tight connection at FRA & currently there are problems at FRA, you will need transfer security & immigration to enter schengen, you have a very high probability of misconnect.
FRA does sometime provide direct ramp transfers but mostly for LH elites & J & F pax
They will provide a hotel & meal voucher at the transfer desk & rebook you to the next day.
