So my backup plan is the longer story. FF tix take us USA-FRA-BRU-VCE. I'm trying to avoid the 2nd connection by buying FRA-VCE (no checked bags, carry on only). If we don't make the 90 minute transit, we have 3+ hours to get the next non-stop to VCE, and if all goes sideways we will STILL have the late flights FRA-BRU-VCE.

I’m flying LH 1139 and LH 440 Barcelona to Frankfurt to Houston. Flying first class.
it is only a 1 hour layover in Frankfurt which does t appear to be enough time. Any thoughts there? Perhaps a silly assumption of mine that it was ok since LH sold me the ticket.

A bit tight, especially since the A->Z passport control can be a zoo in the mornings, but you're very likely to make it. You probably won't have time for a lounge though, which is a pity if you're flying F.

Two hours doesn't really constitute a tight transit at FRA... I'm sure both you and the bags will be just fine.

Hi all - I'll have a 23 hours connection in FRA in early May, arriving at 11:00 and departing at 10:00 the following day. There are a few similar hotels at the airport, some a bit further away and then those in the city and am undecided about what do to. What do the expert in this forum recommend? What is the best hotel at the airport (pricing is more or less similar across properties)?
