We had read those stories too, so were very explicit about canceling the onward flight from BRU-BUD.

Brussels Airlines A333 seatmap

Which is the correct version?

Seatguru shows extra legroom for 15D and G, while the "official" seatmap shows 15E with the legroom.

Seatguru is accurate, the three middle seats on row 14 are placed together, not with a gap in the middle.

As anyone an idea of what plane I should expect ? I guess new "LX" based on ironmanjt first post. However, flying eco, and wondering what the additional space in 10-11-12 means in practice. Is the what they call eco premium (bookable for 99$) ? Thanks!

Well, OO-SFB (ex-EW) is configured in 1-2-1 alternating 2-2-1, very nice business class, their "boutique hotel" product.

Playing roulette again in a couple of days....for now it's throne/2 alternating on the left, double seats in the middle, and single K seats.

Anyone know a way to reserve thrones in advance? (Hah, I pretend like the config will stick...)

It seems only one A330 is left to be retrofitted, so things are getting better:

thanks. if it says "new cabin" without mention of premium eco, does that mean only business and economy have been refurbished?

SN A330

I was thinking of booking BRU-IAD-YYZ in June with the first leg on SN. When I pull up the seat map for SN515 though, it shows a 2-2-2 x 5 configuration in J instead of the staggered layout I expected for the A333. I think it might be an EW plane, but searching the LH Group thread I also saw mention of an ex-SQ 2-2-2 configuration with angled-flat seats in J. I might be willing to go EW, but I’m not doing 8.5 hours in an angled-flat seat.

Can anyone tell me what A333 configurations SN is currently flying and how bad the EW experience is?

Thanks!

Same question - the LH and SN websites show 2-2-2, though SeatGuru is showing the newer staggered seating. It is a daytime flight, so not critical, but I like aisle access. 1A is a lot different between the two.
