Not according to LH.com booking page and flight status, respectively.
I made the Hamburg Turnaround in plenty of time. Even hopped to the Senator Lounge for coffee and back down to the gate. I was quite pleased with the A330 and B787-9 flights. They were wonderful. Such few people on the flights. Whole cabins with empty seats. I must have swapped seats (including Business on the A330) 20 times... for pictures. It was a jolly good time. The 787-9 crew was mainly Seniors, ultra-pro staff. Again lots of seat swapping and pictures. The plane was so empty. Beautiful new aircraft, spotless. A real pleasure to fly. and yes... I did get my flight deck pictures and signings, not on the A321 of course. Overall a good experience, other than the missing 747 to Hamburg and back. Tomorrow's planned 747 will also be a A321. I would say probably the one next week will be the same. :( |

Palma de Mallorca (747)
does anyone know where i can check to see if Lufthansa will be flying a 747 from Frankfurt to Palma de Mallorca in 2024, like they did in 2023 (think it was once a week in april)
thanks Danny! |
Nowhere yet, I don't think. Try again later. Chances are pretty good they will do it around German holidays, but wait for the details.

Aeroroutes made note of the add in early March of 2023 (It is possible the 747 was added a bit earlier and not published on aeroroutes until early March)

Only training? Used to be regular service with 772 and 767 sometimes. Same rotation I believe.
|
Primarily for training (even previously), the demand can be met with an A320 or A321 ;) FRA is close enough and can handle well aged widebodies.

And it was a fixture for years, first time I flew 777 on the relation was, I think, 2015 and last time 2019. Was taken away of course for 2020. I will be doing VIE-FRA on the 16th but annoyingly, I was supposed to be on 205 but will be on 207 instead. |
