Right in time for the World Cup. LOT has the best Y availability from the US to Europe for the dates I'm looking at in June and July, and the late flight to Moscow and early flight back syncs well with the US flights (especially LAX).

From LOT.com directly KRK gets a new direct connection - BUD from April 28th 2018.
KRK-BUD 07:55-09:00 x4
BUD-KRK 09:35-10:35 x4Checking a random date, the aircraft seems to be Dash8.

More news from Warsaw - LOT expands further in the Balkan region and adds Skopje (SKP) & Podgorica (TGD) to its ever growing ex-WAW network as of JUN1. Daily flights (except SUN for SKP and WED for TGD) operated by E70/75.

OU are a bit like LO of old: struggling financially and everybody is milking the potential in their backyard, too small and getting smaller. But in this case LO can take advantage of convergence on the Eastern Market. JP have done very well out of OU’s weak position. Down the line I can see JP becoming part of LO in some way and the whole “lot” being a Eastern European stronghold.

If Papa Lufty can buy up everything, I am sure LO can squeeze that past the Commission.

Not bad - at least it's better than a Dash!

Been looking for an excuse to go to SKP, and the fact that Skopje Marriott is one of only two Marriott properties* in the whole of Eastern Europe and Central Asia to drop down a category in 2018 could swing it.

* The other is Courtyard Sarajevo.

Can this route even survive? But for sure LO Route Panning department should get a bottle of Zubrowka for creativity :-:

Ages ago, Sun-Air flew BLL-GDN because of some corporate interests. I wonder if something like that might be behind the route (Arla Foods?).

Wizzair also flies this route without offering any connections, so presumably there are enough passengers.

Blue air are not able to maintain LOT standards and seem a bit crash crashy by AVHerald stories. I guess LO are also.

advantage is better on time ratings.
