I'm actually really surprised that BOS gets an A380 and HKG gets an A350!? Shouldn't it be the other way around? At least FRA-HKG will be upped to a B748...

Maybe it's because you can get a full, one-day round-trip in using it to BOS instead of to HKG.

The Summer2020 schedule is slowly getting adjusted in the system...

New US and India Routes out of MUC

To be announced next week: https://www.aerotelegraph.com/luftha...-nach-muenchen

India is probably BLR. All bets off for the US?

1) Houston
2) any of Phoenix, SJC, Seattle, Dallas, Austin, ...

Is a return to Portland (PDX) possible?

Concerto Aug 6, 2019 4:11 pm

Any chance of Samara (KUF) coming back? That would be really useful at the moment.

https://newsroom.lufthansagroup.com/...f-626f45321874

In a nutshell:

6/7 MUC-SEA A359
5/7 MUC-DTW A359
5/7 MUC-BLR A359
5/7 FRA-PHX A332 EW
3/7 FRA-ANC A332 EW
3/7 MUC-MCO A332 EW
2/7 MUC-LAS A332 EW

DTW from MUC is definitely interesting as DL already has a summer seasonal daily 767 service. Wonder if it can sustain 2x daily (though I guess DL has lots of connex out of DTW)?

uhhh, strange!
I don’t really understand the DTW? And i thought that EW were ceasing all Long Haul operations?

Well they quit them in a way that they no longer manage them by themselves but now LH is responsible for marketing them. And all planes are supposed to get a real business class so that the product is more or less aligned between LH and EW longhaul. Though still no member of *A and therefore no *G benefits for most people.

There is a TON of auto industry traffic between DTW and Germany.

I like the additional BLR option. The flight times are one hour earlier in both directions than via FRA which is perfect for me. Unfortunately no FCL on the A350 bird

HKG1111 Aug 8, 2019 9:19 am

The S20 routes see some interesting FCL shifts.
https://www.routesonline.com/news/38...as-of-07aug19/

For me most interesting is the permanent change of FCL routes - very confusing for customers. HKG no FCL from FRA anymore (747-4); PHL and Charlotte gets FCL or DEL no FCL anymore.
