What is it with LH putting a certain thing like a certain champagne bit not loading it? It seems to happen more often as I read the previous posts and again when I flew LH the entire wine selection they had (aside from the 2004 pommery) was different from what was on the menu.

They need to get this together, it’s quite unacceptable and disappointing for F if it really happens that often. Like why is it that they sometimes load it and sometimes not? Ridiculous. For me from the start there was no Rosé on the menu but if it were and they didn’t load it I’d be so disappointed.

Literally champagne problems but this isn’t the service an F passenger should be getting from an airline with one of the “best” F experiences out there

Is there a consensus on the Jacquart? The menus for early 2022 were just posted and it will be my first flight with LH in nearly 30 years. Food-wise ex-IAD it seems like I'm looking at roughly the same menu of the last several months.

Yes, completely agree but the Beluga Noble would be an option if the unmentionable Champagne 🍾 ever returned 😉

Don't remind LH that bringing back the unmentionable is even an option.

Would rather want them to widen the scope at the F-worthy level a little bit and include other tasty bubblies in the mix. Krug? Krug Rose? (one can always dream)

I was very careful not to mention, the unmentionable

Krug on LH, more Fantasy Island than a dream, I fear.....

I am glad you didn't.

Unfortunately, even SQ didn't have any Krug on the few flights I took with them in 2020 before Covid really hit. Apparently a shortage of Krug that made them include Comtes de Champagne in the rotation alongside Dom Perignon, and while Krug was still officially among the three champagnes they serve in Suites, it was not available on board. Thought I would throw Krug here as a wish or an idea, if anybody from LH ever reads this and wants to make me happy. I very much prefer Krug to Dom, and really enjoy Krug Rose, served on some BR flights.

I think the new one in the rotation is 2006 Heidsieck but it often changes last minute so you never know. The prior one was Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle. In the FCT, it’s nothing special, as usual.

You can see the First Class Menu, including Wine list online, for your flight & route.

In FCT it was Ruinart NV & Bollinger, less choice that pre pandemic
