Miles&More [D] credit card insurance valid when flying EK?

Hi all,

I have a M&M CC since three years almost as I flown 99% with LH; now I fly with 4U from HAM.
I would like to keep it as it avoids miles from expiring.

I normally pays flights using direct debit, not with CC as I do not want to pay the fee.

And furthermore, I do not think CC insurance covers me when flying with EK, doesn't it?

Thanks

It does.
Lufthansa and Miles & More doesn't really have anything to do with it.
The credit card comes with an insurance package, here travel insurance by ERV.
You can check the details here: http://www.miles-and-more-kreditkart...uecktritt.html

Ok, that's good.
It means it makes no sense to subscribe a "yearly insurance" for all my travel, right?

But I think it covers only if the ticket was paid with the CC.

Sie aktivieren die Versicherung einfach, indem Sie die Reise über Ihre Miles & More Credit Card buchen und bezahlen.

Yes, this offer is a "clone" from the insurances which accompany some of the higher yield American Express Credit cards:

https://www.americanexpress.com/de/content/goldcard/

Only delivering the insurance if the corresponding travel is paid with the American Express or in your case with the M&M card. No need to use a specific airline.
