But to clarify: You will need to have a connecting flight that allows you to get airside again after going through US CBP. If your destination is BOS, you have no way to get to the LH lounge.

There is no airside arrivals lounge post-customs as such. If you have a connection beyond BOS and can reclear security with that BP, you can access the regular concourse lounge; if your final destination is BOS, no.

You have access on arrival to Lufthansa Lounge (Lufthansa Business Class or Senator Lounge) if you are SEN or HON and present arriving boarding pass on a Star Alliance operated flight, as long as airport security restrictions allow you to access this lounge upon arrival.

To be able to get to the lounge, one needs another flight from BOS to get back airside. And as long as the next flight is on a *A carrier, SENs/HONs can then use the lounge as departure lounge anyway. The arrival lounge rule only applies, if the SEN/HON arrives on LH/LX and departs on a non-*A airline such as DL or AA.
