The $20 or $30 cover is reasonable but I do not think the dinner prices are decent at all. I think the cheapest entree is $39 and that is chicken. They require that each guest order an entree--no splitting. So an entree and a salad or app is already about $60 for just food (which I think is mediocre). Drinks aren't cheap either. Valet parking is $13. However, I enjoy myself so much there and it is such a special place that I just suck it up and try not to worry about the money. They are booked until the end of December for a Thursday night!

I think I paid $30 fee at the door, $20/drink, $50 for a mediocre dinner. Great performances, I highly recommend it if you get the opportunity.

They changed out their food service company a few years ago, and suddenly the meals became worth the cost. It's a shame to hear that perhaps the food quality has again gone downhill.

We are in LA for a few days in February and would love to visit the Magic Castle. Can anyone help us out?
