I asked the Inflight Service Manager. On the way back there were two of us from Peru and nine I think, from Chile. There were three upgrade requests for the flight, and after giving the upgrades two empty seats left.

This is why I prefer to transit through LIM --- less competition for upgrades and space. As much as I love SCL (separate entrance and Neruda lounge) and the longer flight for sleeping, the number of elites makes me stay away.

Segments are back! but OW qualifying flights have vanished (at least for me) along with some LAN flight kms too. Total balance remains the same.

LAN says:

Estimado socio, estamos trabajando en la actualización del sistema LANPASS, por esta razón podrían presentarse algunas demoras en los servicios del sitio. Agradecemos su comprensión.

Absolutely amazing that they are tinkering with a live site. Has nobody told them that they could have a development version

bingocallerb22 Apr 24, 2011 12:38 pm

They were warning the site now useful until the 21st... seems it is taking longer than they planned... even now some areas still non-functional... jeje for example even some LAN flights not being accounted for in km totals...

I give them another week to get it all sorted out.

LanPass system still down

Anybody able to access their LanPass account? I'm still getting the error message. :td:

bingocallerb22 Apr 28, 2011 12:32 pm

Yup. Have access (just checked now through Peru site) but the data is wrong and some features not working (upgrade). Have noticed gradual improvements, first segments show up then some missing flights are credited... then...
Seems like they are loading certain data sets as they go. Sometimes completely down, tho, then up again with improved data.

I think they can, I think they can... they are up!!! No warning message and new look for accounts, gosh they have added conversion to miles!

bingocallerb22 May 3, 2011 7:15 pm

and the booking engine is booking flights it never did before.. there are improvemenrts

Have you tried it with a different browser?

phlashba May 4, 2011 2:19 pm

Yes -- multiple browsers. I just called and they told me that when they reset the web site my account was not active in both systems. The agent said she had sent a message and it would be reset in 24 hours. Just a note to anyone else with the same problem --- DON'T call and push 3 for LAN.com --- they won't help with this. You must push 5 for LanPass.

phlashba May 5, 2011 5:09 pm

OK -- I am now able to log in only to discover that my kilometers are at zero. Please tell me others of you are still seeing this problem as I really don't want to call them again.

Just to clarify --- the zeros are only on the account page --- on the main website welcome page the kms are correct.

bingocallerb22 May 5, 2011 5:53 pm

Ah, good for you. Now you can join the fun and watch as the numbers change... it is like they are loading different data sets and, as well, changing servers often. joking aside, wouldn´t want to be them right now, must be a nightmare

phlashba May 5, 2011 5:56 pm

Yes, isn't this fun? ;)
