Most agreements are maintained with most oneworld airlines apart from American Airlines (British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian, S7Airlines and SriLankan Airlines) https://www.latam.com/en_us/about-us...elta-alliance/

I'm afraid full details are not public yet.

i am wondering if the partnership with one world will allows mile and tier points as well as the perks such as VIP lounge , extra luggage etc.

There is no partnership with OneWorld. That ended 30 April 2020.
With existing tickets check with your the airline/ffp
There is a ff partnership with specific airlines. Would not expect status benefits to be continued
With QF some status perks until Sept(?) but after that only QF points(miles) (cannot find the QF link - post)

DL to acquire 20% LATAM; LA to exit OW

According to their webpage (01/05/2020) it is possible to earn "Puntos Calificables" and "Segmentos Calificables" on the former oneworld Partners (except AA, AT, FJ), which are now called "aerolineas asociadas": https://www.latam.com/es_un/latam-pa...eas-asociadas/

As far as the other way around is concerned, it seems (01/05/2020) that also BAEC still allows to earn avoid and tier points on LA/JJ: https://www.britishairways.com/en-ch...-avios/flights

As far as lounge access is concerned, according to the Latam webpage (https://www.latam.com/es_un/conoceno...p/salones-vip/) access will be granted to those traveling in first and business class on "aerolineas ascociadas", as well as their elite tier members. This is good news, as far as I'm concerned. (Obviously, all Latam lounges are closed right now, due to COVID).

If you look however at the TP/Avios calculator it shows 0 TPs earned on LATAM flights (https://www.britishairways.com/trave...club/_gf/en_gb), my sense is that the page you linked to hasn't been updated yet. I would be (pleasantly) surprised if we'd be able to earn TPs by flying a non-oneworld airline!

Completely agree and hopefully will stay like this - I love the GRU LATAM lounge. Glad to see this is being kept.

CX MPO members taking LATAM flights before 30SEP can still earn club points and enjoy the same oneworld benefits. Don't know if the reverse is also true. The only exception is that code-share flights with other oneworld members (except CX) are not included anymore.

Based on https://helpdesk.latam.com/hc/en-us/...my-next-trips- and https://helpdesk.latam.com/hc/en-us/...orld-alliance-, it seems that LA members can still get oneworld lite benefits on all airlines except AA until Sep.

Hi,
if I understand properly:
LA customers will get qualified points at one world flights apart from AA , however one world customers ( BA EXECUTIVE CLUB) will get only avios but not tier points .

Some oneworld customers can still get tier points (at least in the case of CX and QF) before 30SEP, while others don't. It's down to the decision of each individual airline.
