Does KE have a period where miles toward Elite status?
Most mileage plans have a "minimum EQMs during a calendar year period" rule for whether or not you qualify for some level of Elite status.
Does Korean Air do something similar, or is it just a matter of meeting their mileage minimums and criteria? |
I have the choice of converting points to either Korean Air miles or United.
Any thoughts on which program allows better coach or business class booking from DFW or ORD to cities in Asia? Thanks. |

By the way, can I book a one way award on Air France using Korean Skypass miles, do you know? How tight is availability in general? Thank you! |

Proof of family status
Hi All,
Would KE accept a civil partnership certificate copy as evidence of family membership for the pooling of miles? |

Just a note about reaching Morning Calm-
For US residents, US Bank offers Skypass credit cards. According to their FAQ, up to 20k miles earned from these can count towards Morning Calm membership but they fall under the "partner" category, so the rest of the flying has to be on KE. |

Would someone mind explaining something? Can Korean Air miles be used on codeshare flights? (i.e. Hawaiian) As it's SkyTeam, any SkyTeam member flight should be ok (i.e. Delta)?
I'm on the SkyPass website, and can't seem to book any North America to North America flight at all, everything looks like its operated by Korean Air. Any way to get out of the program and take miles elsewhere? |
