Korean Air is launching a new global advertising campaign to elevate the brand to a whole new level. The new campaign, entitled “For life on a whole new scale”, will kick off globally in a cross media blitz featuring all new commercials on TV, print, outdoor and digital channels.

Does anyone know the name of the song used in the new Korean Air commercial?

It's pretty catchy....

The music was composed by Robert Matt, and the name of his composition is “Korean Air Color of Flight: Breathing the Blue”.

Wow - what a snappy title!

Robert Matt's music is actually from the campaign that these new ads are replacing. Sent off a message to Korean yesterday, and got a message back today saying that the song is "Breathe to This" by Carrie Tree.

Thanks SB, that's exactly what I was looking for. It's definitely not the older Robert Matt song, which was also very good.

Nothing is showing up around the interwebs for the new song, anybody know what album it is on? Her Myspace page says "Accoustic/Folk" so it's probably a remix...

'Breathe to this' is specially for this ad campaign. No public release so far.

The commercials are still pleasant after multiple exposures.

I wonder if the commercial tried to give us the impression that Korean Air is an western carrier. Not a single "real Korean" is represented in a commercial; a well-preserved trend nowadays in Korea. :D
A stark constrast to TG's or SQ's commercials.

One of the flight attendants is real Korean, I believe.

looking at her eyes and nose, she looks mixed. maybe Half Korean? Or it is just a plastic surgery which is a commonplace in Korea nowadays?
It looks like to me they chose a Korean who has a more westernized look on purpose.

This already looks like a failed commercial to me.
The commercial does not give me the incentive to fly KE.

Excellent find Zone1.. a bit strange that her own website would have no mention of any of her lunaseeds music, and only mentions the lunaseeds name once on the site. Even more strange however is the fact that Korean Air didn't actually name the correct artist or song.. they've even updated the youtube vids with the Carrie Tree "Breathe to This" information. :confused:

Anyone figured out the lyrics yet?
