There is a €300 fine for every violation of the smoking ban, and if Schiphol "tolerates" smoking in any way those fines might add up quite quickly. In theory the mayor of a county (Harlemmermeer in Schiphol's case) can also decide to withdraw alcohol licenses if an organisation refuses to abide by smoking laws, which I imagine Schiphol would take very seriously. |
