Why are you encouraging people to break the law - when they can smoke quite legally in the enclosed smoking areas that are being provided just for that purpose?

Or you might be thrown out of the airport entirely. Not exactly a risk one should take or be advising others to take IMHO.

There is a €300 fine for every violation of the smoking ban, and if Schiphol "tolerates" smoking in any way those fines might add up quite quickly. In theory the mayor of a county (Harlemmermeer in Schiphol's case) can also decide to withdraw alcohol licenses if an organisation refuses to abide by smoking laws, which I imagine Schiphol would take very seriously.
