KLM Android App/Website

I find the integration of the KLM App poor with Google Calendar. It does not offer a choice of calendars on the phone (I have four google calendars for different purposes (because they are shared with different people)
Rather than offer an .ics file on the website it only allows integration on the KLM app which then constantly adds my flight entries to the wrong calendar and exposes flight details to people who should not see it.
Any good solutions?

Change the "default" calendar to another, private one?

I personally don't use it at all. I forward booking confirmations automatically into Flighty and Flighty adds things to my calendar without further interaction from myself required.Flighty can import and export to/from a calendar of choice.

Google does not allow this.
See here

The fault is in the klm app/website. It either needs to add a choice or allow use of a default calendar in the android app.

One could argue the fault is in Android / Google Calendar, not allowing to set a default for newly added events.

Either way, given you're on Android I can't help you,

I just assumed Google would have an option to set a default, but that was obviously stupid to assume. My bad.

Remove the calendar permission from the KLM app.
Allow it only when you want to use the "add to calendar" function, and remove it afterward.
Or, use the share function to generate the booking info text and manually add it to the calendar of your choice.
