Christmas dinner at the Crowne Lounge?
I don't seem to recall ever paying a visit to the Crowne Lounge on Christmas day: apart from the fact that I would imagine it being quieter than usual, will the food be different somehow i.e. am I being over-optimistic thinking that I will be able to get a nice Christmas dinner, given also that I'm going be on a long[ish] flight and scheduled to get at my final destination probably a tad too late in order to have a proper meal (or to force my stomach to do so!)? :)
That aside, is AF, KL or any other airline taking you anywhere over the festive period? (alright, I didn't want to start a http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/lufth...christmas.html sort of thread) :) G |
Christmas dinner at the Crowne Lounge?
Imagine the usual fare and christmas tree cookies and you have an accurate idea.

I remember visiting the Royal Wing lounge in the non Schengen part of Schiphol many moons ago on X-Mas day.
Usually, the Royal Wing lounge over there was pretty crowded before the 10.30-12.30 departure bank to the US, but on that day, I was not forced to find a seat in the aquarium (the section for smokers) The food was the standard fare, green puff pastry and meat puff pastry. :D Back in the days, they offered Dresdner Stollen as well, but I do not think that it was limited to X-Mas day only. |
You should certainly take some photos and post in the lounge food thread :P I am sure the photos will be a great addition to the photos already collected!
