Thumbs up Profits Expected!!!

It looks like jetBlue's hard work with the RTP (Return To Profitability) plan is paying off.

Below is a link to an email sent from management to crewmembers today posted on a.net by another member.

This is GREAT news for jetBlue and I think it will only get better from here...

Surprising... I picked jetBlue to tank when they decided to add the EMB to its fleet. Good show.

The major issues with the 190 have been worked out. Most, if not all, of the problems where software related. I have yet to be delayed, on the 190, for a real maintanence issue. Embraer is sending us a pretty hefty check as well for the operational issues and reliablility issues that the 190 has suffered. The plane is a dream to work and is really starting to show her full potiential.

Excellent news...it's normal for any new plane to have operational issues in the beginning, and it's great that the issues have been resolved. I would think that Embraer is not even required to send jetBlue a check...I may be wrong...but either way, a good move on their part. That's good customer service on a larger scale!
