BOS > LAS: Blue vs Blue Extra

First time flying with JetBlue non-stop from Boston to Las Vegas in late September.

What are the major differences between Blue and Blue Extra? Would you be able to pick much better seats with Blue Extra?

Is it worth the extra cost for Blue Extra to get better seats? The price difference is +$70 for Blue Extra, round trip.

Thanks much!

Thanks for the link.

Based on that, it seems there is no difference in terms of seat selection between Blue and Blue Extra.

I thought the seats available for selection would be different for Blue Extra, but doesn't look like it. Can anyone confirm from actual experiences?

There are no additional seats to be selected with Blue Extra. You can still purchase EMS if you'd like. The main things you get with a Blue Extra fare is free same-day changes, earlier boarding, and fast pass security.
