Valérie Lemercier's choice

Valérie Lemercier is a very famous actress in France. She often flies to Tokyo.
Ana IC is her favourite hotel:

WHERE TO SLEEP?
The Ana InterContinental, for the smile
"I have stayed in all major luxury hotels in Tokyo, and my favourite is the Ana InterContinental. The service is very friendly, and sushi restaurant is delicious. There is nothing hype in that hotel but it is ideally located for strolls around the city. "

Sounds like a paid endorsement. I believe the ANA is a good hotel but I am willing to offer odds that there are several that are significantly better.

Maybe she likes the fact that guests can access rooms via an elevator from the carpark without passing reception. That's a minus for many, but a plus for people who want a quiet, discrete stay rather than lots of bling and attention. Other than that, I can't think of anything particularly special about the ANA.
I can certainly think of better locations for someone who wants to stroll around.

Not sure why this thread still exists here in the Japan forum. Clearly hasn't been used in over a decade. Recommend using the IC ANA Tokyo thread in the IHG forum: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/inte...ripreport.html
