Wasn't that called "La Jolla"? It's been years since I was there, but there was a Chicago Hot Dog place just a couple of doors down. There was, indeed, a Taco Bell in Nagoya. Again, haven't seen it in years, though. When I was stationed in Japan, the military had a program called Environmental Morale Leave (EML) which allowed personnel one plane ticket per year, I think. Most who took advantage went to the states. Also, there is Space Available travel allowed on military aircraft. I have taken the 747 from Yokota to Osan in Korea countless times. Speaking of Osan, there used to be a really good Mexican restaurant on the base there. |

I think La Jolla was in Ebisu. I went there about ten years ago with a friend. After 30 minutes they asked us to leave because many people were waiting...never went there again.I think it closed..I wonder why. bento.com has English rest.infoforJapan. |

Although Taco Bell is indeed back (and has been since April), I don't think this merits reopening a ten year old thread...
