Hehehe. Yes.

The history of the word stationery has to do with being sold from a fixed location

Amazing large joinery
Really appreciate whomever decided to subtitle the videos (even in JP) and the clear wider angle videography. The production standards are solid so that it is informative and interesting to watch.

Even nerdier stationary stationery videos.

I've wondered how older Japanese bathrooms get renovated since unit baths are so popular now
(That is a lot of caulking. I hope it is more mold resistant than the western stuff )

スーツ 交通 / Suit Train (also a speed talker) [JP] https://www.youtube.com/user/usiusa7991

I am not much of YouTube person, don't watch that much, but as self proclaimed train geek even I know of スーツ交通. He is a college student, where he has not discolosed his name or his age but should to be age of 18-22. He started train/travel related YouTube in high school and grew in popularity. He has appeared on main strem meadia, TV, Radio, and print, also. Because of his sucsess on YouTube he has created limited liability corpration and supposed to have three people working for him on YouTube related business, He has mentioned on his own YouTube that his annual income is around 5000,0000 yen (US$ 473,000/year or 390000 Euro/year)

I think I've seen his videos for several years so I hope he graduated college. His videos have been a great travel research resource for me.

I guess I am not a self proclaimed train geek but watch Suit Train occasionally, see a steam loco in my instagram feed and then go to check where it runs (see, not a good train geek), so I am a train appreciator? Are there non-JP train otaku handicaps? JP otaku-ness is kind of on another level of dedication. I feel like I'd need to do a lot more train studying, riding, take one of the sleepers, and visit all the train museums to qualify for self consideration and promotion :D. There's Suit Train and other train geek videos until my next visit.

I like train travel, and I tend to choose train over other form of transportation when it is feasible. I do agree that train otaku are on another level then I am. Although I will not take offence being called otaku but nobody has called me train otaku, not yet. :D I do think train otaku will not consider me as train otaku. I may have far less resistance calling myself "geek" because of my background of PhD in physical organic chemistry. I call myself "geek" more freely than many other people but I should understand that calling own "geek" or "nerd" is not something many do.

スーツ交通 seems to be 23 years old. On YouTube video he posted on 2019 he mentioned that he was third year at Yokohama National University and said he was 21 years old at that time. According to his posting スーツ交通 graduated from Iwakura High School transport program on 2016 and he has applied to JR companies but he was not accepted then went on to Yokohama National University. スーツ交通 has established corporation on 2018 and he was supposed to graduate from Yokohama National University on 2020 but looks like he has not graduated. Running a corporation earing 50 million yen annually sure is a full time job and looks like he did not have time to do both. On one of his YouTube video, a viewer commented that his/her 60 years old grand mother likes his YouTube videos and スーツ交通 commented that he tries to make videos that 50 - 60 years old who are not into trains can enjoy and understand.

I categorically hate all shilltubers, but Onoda's videos really bother me in the sense that despite him visiting some nice destinations in the world they're all visually/cinematically very poor as videos, especially when he films himself brushing his teeth and gurgling like some unpleasant old man. The information is quite good, so in that sense it's like going from being a FTer to a shilltuber

And none of these people are particular standouts, there are so many other slight variations on the schtick these people have done by someone else and shilltube is so saturated with this kind of material nowadays...
