[No longer] Urgent Sushi Help!

Put in a reservation request for Yoshitake 1 month ago on tableall, heard back today and they couldn't get it.
I need a place that will accept a reservation for mid July and be as good (not any worse and has to have two michelin stars) pronto.

Omitting Yoshitake, there are exactly 11 sushi restaurants that fit your criteria.

Can you explain what it is that you need such urgent help for? From my perspective it seems rather straightforward to contact this very manageable number of restaurants and see if any of them has an opening for your dates.

But it has to have two Michelin stars. Not zero, not one, or not three. Thou should count to two but only on your way to three... And it's urgent!

If you're staying at a hotel, have you tried contacting the concierge for help?

There are plenty of non-starred places that also do great omakase. Michelin is not the end-all be-all. Have you tried looking at tabelog to see how other places stack up with Yoshitake and other Michelin marketed shops?

This doesn't really answer the question. On the curious side, I checked their website and it doesn't explicitly say there is or isn't a concierge service. Have you contacted the hotel directly and ask if they have a concierge?

Not surprising that the Royal Park Canvas Ginza does not have concierge, the Royal Park hotels are kind of hotels which does not have concierge. I think the situation with the OP is that OP insist on Michelin Star rating and OP must have a reservation for a restaurant right now. Around Ginza where OP will be staying there are a lot of nice non-Michelin rated sushi places, and I personally think does not has to be Michelin rated. If I were OP I will simply ask for a recommendation from a front desk at the hotel for dinner that day, don't bother making a reservation right now. But OP insist on Michelin Star rating so will require reservation in advance.

Do you know about the Statue of the Three Lies? Well, this is the Statement of the Two Lies, as Ryugin is not a sushi restaurant (no matter how urgent, Chef Yamamoto isn't changing the menu for the OP), and it's not in Roppongi Hills (or Rappungi Hills, for those FTers of a certain vintage).

You might try a private concierge. There's also a place in Roppongi that can provide information and bookings for some restaurants. Can't remember the website, but you can reach them on 03-3405-9222

Taking into account OP's request (for a 2 star restaurant), this would actually be a statement of three lies; Ryugin is not a 2 star restaurant!

You're out of touch, I'm out of time.
OP clearly referred to Roppnogi Hills, which is the 公式ライバル to Rappungi Hills.
