sapparo (CTS) ideas
I have an upcoming tuesday absolutely free at ANA Hotel at CTS. I was wondering if folks could suggest ideas for sightseeing/ nature walk etc.
Thanks. |
There are some tips and links about what to do in Sapporo in the snow festival threads - like this one

Leaves walk
As it is Koyou (leaves changing colour) season a very nice walk would be through the Hokkaido University campus. It's located very close to the main Sapporo Station.

Thank you, jib71

I will be in Sapporo for 5 days over Christmas.
I would like to do skiing for one day. There is different ski resorts around Sapporo but which one is the most convenient with other activities like spa? Moreover, I would like to invite my friend to a nice japanese restaurant on Dec24. Do you have any recommendations? I do not mind if it is ramen, shabu, etc. Any other tips? Thanks in advance! |

Rusutsu ski resort
I recommend Rusutsu ski resort for the one day. They have great terrain and its big. They also have a hotspring at the resort and a hotel with bars if you want to relax after skiing.
http://www.best-of-sapporo-japan.com/rusutsu.html Theres also a free bus that takes you to and from the resort from Sapporo. For restaurants, I think eating soup curry is perfect in the winter. check out this link for soup curry restaurants around Sapporo. http://www.best-of-sapporo-japan.com/japan-food-1.html Enjoy |
Thanks for the advices. I am sure we will have a great time!
