Just a data point: Two QF OWEs were permitted access to NRT F lounges on 4 Jan before MH71.
Main lounge at ~3:30pm was probably 30-40% full. Angels gave us the "we're letting you in this time but can't guarantee we will next time" speech.
Wandered over to the satellite at ~6:30pm until closure at 7:30pm which was virtually empty. No speech.
For those who appreciate whisky, they had Akkeshi Newborn Foundations 2 in the main lounge and Yamazaki NAS in the satellite. Both also had Hibiki Blenders. Also, here's the sushi schedule for the next few weeks.

Indeed it is, I wasn't aware either. Here's the link for anyone else who'd like to see: https://www.jal.co.jp/inter/service/...t/nrt_food.pdf

From reading the thread it seems that access to an F lounge requires you to fly JL ... but it hasn't said you have to fly F on JL for access.
So next week I'm a OWE in J flying on JL marketed and metal. I assume I'll get access to the F lounges?

while the main building is being renovated, what's the best JAL First lounge--satellite building, or main building?

Depends on time of day. Main building lounge gets far more crowded than the satellite lounge. But the sushi and shoe shine is only in the main building lounge still. Champagne is better in the sattelite lounge.

Just as a point of reference. In the JL F lounge now as a OWE flying AA in J.
Sushi is delicious! I may go for seconds...

Does that mean the issue is gone? OWE flying CX J from NRT tomorrow afternoon, will I be able to get to JL F?
