I'm in the UK, have 4 locks for 324,300 bonus points

35 properties
11 Saturdays
110 nights

plus the survey (done already)

I assumed it was because I don't have a PC Visa - but my wife has one, I'll ask her to check her emails when she gets in.

It looks like 4 out of 5 is only for US based members. The Rest of the world has to make it with 4 out of 4, as you can only apply for the Visa card if you have a US SSN, which most non-US-members usually don't have.

At second glance, it appears to The Kohoutek that those with minimal PC stays in the past have the least onerous hoops to jump in order to achieve the final result, with the least amount of cash outlay. Agree or disagree?

OK I got my offer. 220,000 points. I wish my Visa offer was for 60K bonus points as I am wanting this card anyway. Here is my offer:

* PC Visa 30K
* 3 Saturday Nights 1,700
* 23 Properties 13K
* 53 Nights 10K
* Survey 2K

Complete 4 of 5. I think I can do this. I really wish my Visa offer was 60K I wonder how they determine that?

I am Plat and have 150K points.

With all these points given out rather liberally, I can't help but think that another round of point devaluations is on the way...

This is just the maddest offer ever - 380k points for me for 87 nights at 45 (!) different properties, including 30 Saturday nights.

I have at least done the survey, which was a lot more complicated than the usual 500 point survey - interesting questions about which promos are more attractive, looks like they are considering money off future stays rather than bonus points for a future quarterly promo (e.g. 10% or 25% off future stays for the rest of the quarter after the first stay).

This just makes me wish there was a PC Visa for Canadian residents even more. I would sign up for that in a heartbeat. I'm glad that Shareholder got an email because I'm hoping that bodes well for other Canadians!

Y'all that got really cr*ppy thresholds to achieve in order for the bonus points to kick in, not to mention the lame points being granted for qualifiying activities: SBT.

I have a very easy one (10 nights for 98,000 if I do the rights days and brands). However, the snag is doing 5 brands. For a UK member, that is a tough one since the non-IC/CP/HI/HIE properties here can be counted on 1 hand. I may need to do a Candlewood mattress run in the US next month simply to clear that 5th brand hurdle.

I have yet opened my chest which said 148,800 pts. Husband has not received his promo email so far.

What tasks one has to perform to open all latches?
Why would I need to do the 10 room nights?

Seems like 2 paid Saturday nights plus 1 annual fee for the Visa gets me all bonii except the 5,600 points. The 105k in the case plus the other 4 bonii from each individual task.

Am I missing anything? The way I read it, there's no need to do the 5th task unless you want that task's specific bonus. You guys with these "181 room nights" tasks are presumably doing the other four tasks and still getting the case bonus.

True, but if I had anything more difficult I probably wouldn't even try it. At least in my case (a currently dormant PC member as far as stays go), my offer is tailored pretty well. These 400k-500k promotions would be useless to me.

Could also do a trip to Liverpool or Newcastle and stay at Staybridge

thanks, long time lurker - pretty much come here to make sure I am not missing any promos

agreed, the offers are quite lame for me, I won't even make an effort to do it as I need 5 of 5 and there is no sense of me paying my own money for 4 Saturday stays to just get 44k pts (especially when I have 5xx,xxx pts)

Points Scrounger - I just got this email this morning so hopefully the offer is still on its way to you
