I think you're over-estimating the negative impact of getting a single credit card will have on your credit score, especially if you have a mortgage on your credit report already.

I've only seen one person reporting reciving an offer that included a bonus for all five latches:

1,000 Take survey (already done )
400 For earning 1400 points via visa

55,000 for unlocking ALL 5 latches

Overall this seems fairly easy to achieve given that's about as much time as I spend at IHG properties after my 25 SPG and 25 Hyatt stays have been accounted for.

The high point offers sound great, but the earning thresholds seem kinda high.
Note that this poster already has the Visa and their Visa spend requirement is pretty minimal for a nine month period.

I also think that this promotion in general is FANTASTIC because it is going to put alot of pressure on Hilton HHonors, Marriott Rewards, Hyatt Goldpassport and Starwood Preferred Guest to keep up with the Industry leader PRIORITY CLUB.

Does anyone know if I would have to book hotels through an offer latch on the Crack the Case page or can I book a 20% advance rate through the PCR site? Thanks.

I could be, I'm still young and stupid and don't know much about credit scores. I have always paid off in full every month and had a score about 750 when I bought my house.

Mine:

- Visa 60,000
- Survey 500
- 2 Brands 4,400
- 2 Saturdays 3,300
- 10 room nights 5,600

Bonus in the case: 105,000

Total: 178,800.

I'm a pretty dormant member...no PC stay activity in years. I received 20,000 points this year from that promo with HHonors account screenshot submission.

So...two nights for 110-ish thousand points? Yeah, I'll do that. I have Saturday night stays in Dallas...there are IC's and an Indigo that I know of. (Is there a better 2nd brand to try out than Indigo? I don't know...)

(I assume the Priority Club Visa has a "normal" annual fee that won't change the overall value of this promo too much.)

So it seems that receive the maximum points you have to do all cases?

Unhappy wow, I am certianly not getting a half a million bonus pts

seem to be getting a much lower offer, 44,000 bonus points

I am guessing this lower offer is because of my traveling less this year than last

Platinum Royal Ambassador
over 500k points
Already have the PC Visa

Spend and Earn - 300 pts
Survey - 1000 pts
13 Nights - 1700 pts
8 Properties - 3300 pts
4 Saturdays - 1700 pts

I will never get the Saturday one because I never typically pay for Saturday stays at any hotel

If that is your first mortgage, then it most likely raised your credit score. Adding a single card will not impact your credit score much at all, so unless you have marginal credit (which you don't it appears) then it's no big deal.

My SO got an identical promo. Also no PC stay activity last year, only some partner etc promos. Mine is by far more challenging but this one we may pursue.

You would need to also do the 10 room night in order to reach your 110-ish thousand points.

I have yet opened my chest which said 148,800 pts. Husband has not received his promo email so far.

What tasks one has to perform to open all latches?

Congrats on your first post, Eagle! However, your points offers are rather lame.

Anyone else besides me miss out entirely on this promo?

Husband has not received his promo email so far. I just double-checked his communication settings - he is set to receive all promos. But nothing comes so far.

What tasks one has to perform to open all latches?

You need to complete 4 of 5 activities. The survey is a no-brainer for 1 of 5 activities, leaving you with 3 of 4 remaining activities to obtain the big bonus.

Edit to add: Looks like some folks need to complete 5 activities (?) to receive the big bonus, so it's a YPMV thing.

I forgot to include in my post that mine is set up this way as well. They'll give me 181,000 (of the 219,000 total) points for unlatching all 5
