5K points for twitter or instagram pic
Didn't see any discussion of this so I am posting it here. I just received an e-mail for a promo that gives the first 10k people that have twitter or instagram account to earn 5k points for posting a pic...I don't have either and 5k points aren't enough to make me want to join, but for those of you that do, here are the details: https://homewithihg.com/

This has been valid for at least over a week now. I submitted my entry on the first day and received a successful message (apparently I posted correctly) however one plus week later and I’ve yet to receive the points in my account.

I got the same email (although I missed the part about 10,000 people). I uploaded a photo to Twitter, waited 20 min or so, and then clicked the link in the email and got a confirmation number. It says points should be credited within 2 weeks. It's hard to imagine how they'll confirm as my email address is different for Twitter, but maybe....

I got a confirmation code for the 5,000 pts yesterday as well. Had to create an IG account to post but it was a timely offer as my measly balance of 3k IHG points was due to expire on Jan. 31. I had been looking for an easy way to extend them and this fit the bill.

i tried the link in the email again today & it finally went through without the error i was getting a couple of days ago....i was asked to fill out a short form confirming my name, email address & ihg number....then it gave me a confirmation code....

Another IHG scam. Get the social media boost whilst burying in tiny print (and IT glitches) a cost cap.
