Chase Annual Free Night Certificate
I am considering to take advantage of my certificate of 2017 in Miami around New Year's Eve, also trying to complete my last task of Accelerate Q4.
Thus, here is the question: will my stay using Annual Free Night Certificate be counted as a qualifying stay on my account activity?

Generally qualifying stays are only revenue stays. Award stays of any form Chase Annual Free Night Certificate, Points, Cash & Points, etc. typically do not qualify. The exception is for promotion tasks that either call for redeeming points or sometimes specifically for a cash and points stays. To give you a more specific reply, you would need to post the exact terms of your Accelerate Q4 task.
