If Earning Preference is Miles, can I still earn IHG Bonus Points?
If I select Delta miles for my earning preference (for a Delta challenge), will I still earn the IHG Bonus Points for the Accelerate Promotion (book a stay for March, use my IHG Credit card, etc.)? Thanks

Save the folio which shows that you paid with card. You should get credit as the system will see it as a paid stay, rather than award.

If that is indeed so, the miles required refer to MQM which requires flying. IHG stays only gives reward miles. Two different things.

To Clarify my original question
To clarify: Currently I can earn 1000 extra Delta miles for each partner I use. So I have a stay scheduled in March at a Holiday Inn and have changed my earning preference to Delta miles.
However, I'm wondering (hoping) that I will still earn bonus IHG miles for the Accelerate Promotion by paying for the stay with my IHG card, for booking and staying in March, etc.

From my 2016Q3 Accelerate, yes, I earned miles (Asia Miles) and got the tasks qualified.
Did not have IHG card promo then, but book & stay etc did post. There were some chasing & manual posting needed, but it was the bad promo system and irrelevant to earning preference.
