IHG Auctions

I'm the currently high bidder for the Willard experience. Doubt I'll win the auction with 7 days to go.

Particularly not if you advertise it here I wasn't aware of these auctions and will be happy to take a look (though not at the Willard).

Thanks for sharing!

I expect that auction to hit 600K.

A couple of months back I was the high bidder for a SXSW package. It was at 175K until 10 min left. It eventually went for 280K

Very likely...I wonder who carries that many points in their acct. I only have about 315k points so I'm out. It's currently at 406k.

850K right here. I would bid on it, but I live 5 hours away from DC so it doesn't make sense to buy the airfare.

The companies that I've worked for always have that small handful of road warriors that are either required to or find a way to spend 220+ nights on the road. I know a guy who retired more than half a decade ago and still uses miles that he accrued with the company for his half a dozen leisure trips a year.

Yup, only traveled for work for two and a half years and after six years of using my points still have about 350K left (only use them if they are good value, never to spurge).

I just won the Patriots vs. Bengals ticket auction. It's Tom Brady's first home game of the season and they're great seats. I think it will be an amazing experience.

The auction ended at 428,000 points!! Way higher than I thought it would but I couldn't let it go. The other NFL tickets went for around 200,000 points...but then again they aren't the Patriots!

I earn about 500,000 points every 6 months so I figure they'll always come back.

I didn't know about IHG auctions until I saw an advert from one that popped up on Facebook yesterday. Interesting one running at the moment for a pair of Wimbledon tickets with hospitality.
