Haven't seen this reported yet (though with FT's poor search function I may have easily missed it)... for the first time I'm not being shown the base renewal offer of $150.

Instead, my options this year are just:

$200, including 10% back on redeemed points and 15k points; or
40,000 points

It's been like that for a few months now.

Thanks, I must have missed that. Hopefully we won't see $200 become the new base renewal fee, without the add-ons. (Remember when even the $150 renewal used to come with 5,000 or 10,000 points?)

I just renewed today. I took the $200 and the 15,000 points + 10% back on points as I knew I have 6 point nights upcoming at IC so the 10% back plus 15k would be about 43,000 points. That said, instantly 25,000 points credited to my IHG Account, so an additional 10k? I will not say anything but that was a nice surprise?!?!

Nice for you.

I think IHG sometimes even doesn't know themselves what they are doing.

Tried to renewal my Ambassador today, renewal of $200 without 15k IHG points nor 10% rebate. In fact no such renewal option is offered. Another enhancement?

I was the same - no 15K points rebate mentioned or 10% discount on award bookings. But when I renewed (a few days ago) I immediately got the 15K points credited to my account. Time will well whether they honour the 10% rebate on award stays.

I just renewed using the $200K, 15K points and 10% rebate option. Points posted instantly, Complimentary Weekend Night benefit showed up immediately. Ambassador membership extended until 01/01/2021, Spire Elite Status extended by one year until 12/31/2021 despite having collected less than 10,000 points and only 25 (mostly redemption) stays this year.

This year I got almost 50K rebate on redemption stays. Adding the 15K, the free weekend night, the Spire extension, the welcome amenities and the generous upgrades at several locations makes extending my Ambassador membership at $200 annually a no-brainer to me, despite the somewhat reduced (and no longer guaranteed) benefits.

Renewed today - Amb and Spire extended one year, my total points balance increased by 15K, although there's a line item stating: Register for Offer 0?

I assume the 10% rebate on points stacks with the 10% for keeping the old Chase MC?

The follow up is then

On a 4th night free on points via the new Chase MC is the 4th night free considered a rebate?

I ask both because there is a limit of 100k points rebated in a year .

Yes, you are entitled to both 10% rebates stacked.

Mine says "Renew for $200 USD and get 15,000 points plus a Reward Night rebate"

Does that mean I get a free night or is this the same as the 10% back?

The reward night rebate is the 10% back.
