Connection problems with 2 different companies
 

Hi guys! i bought a ticket from Italy to Australia, the problem is that the fly is composed by 3 travel, the last one is an internal flight in Australia, unfortunately there's not much time to take my coincidences for the internal flight, and the most bad is that i change airline companies to do the last internal flight. for let you understand this are the times: arrived: 06:40 > departure : 8:25.
In this time i have to do the immigration and show my document to get in , recovery my baggage and put it in the hold of new plane. I red that refund for losting coincidences does not exist if we're talking about two different companies like my situation. Is it really a short time in your opinion?
Any suggest?

So you have two separate tickets, one (return) between Italy and Australia, and one (return) internal flight in Australia, right? If you miss the internal flight in Australia you will lose the entire ticket, as the return internal flight will be cancelled. You are unlikely to be rebooked (the airline doesn't have to do anything) and you'll probably have to buy a new ticket. No refunds. This is the danger of buying separate tickets. Personally I think your timing is not very good. What if your inbound flight is late? Can you change your second ticket to a later flight?

Which city are you flying into?
Which airline are you flying from Italy to Australia and which airline did you book internally?

I read it as the OP is inquiring about the int-dom connection at SYD/MEL/PER or whereever the OP arrives first in Australia.

I also assume that the OP bought two tickets, 1 ticket Italy to AU and 1 domectic ticket. If all travel is on 1 ticket, there is no issue - you will be transferred to the next flight (free of charge) if you miss the connecting domestic AU flight (unless it is your own fault).

Anyway, you should be able to make that connection but be prepared for the worst case sceanario in case you miss the AU domestic flight = you have to buy a new ticket for the next flight. Luckily, domestic flights in AU are not that expensive - in general - so it should not lead to significant loss for you.

If you have travel insurance such extra costs should be covered under the travel insurance.

The OP says two different companies (airlines?) but not necessarily two separate tickets. I agree we need more information for a meaningful response.

With Eu-Aust guess its 2 flights on 1 airline. Wild guess's EK Emirates, SQ Singapore, CX Cathay, TG Thai or ??
And then another Aust domestic airline. Likely to be QF Qantas or VA Virgin Australia.
My uneducated wild guess is EK onto QF

06:40 to a 08:25 flight is nothing that unusual.
06:40 is possibly a flight into SYD. Many long haul arrive 06:00 - 07:30 time.

If the transit airport is MEL its a short walk between terminals.

OP also should not rely on travel insurance to reimburse "trip interruption" between tickets unless that is specifically covered. Many policies do not cover this.

In any event, OP needs to provide exact details of his journey, including his exact route, how many tickets are involved, the carriers involved, the day of the week (this helps to inform the immigration & customs delay issues) and his own nationality and potential visa issues.

I am wary of using terms such as "not very expensive" unless I know the financial circumstances of the individual. What seems like not much to me, might be a great deal to someone else.
