I currently realize a study on the opinion of travelers who belong to an alliance, and have differents miles with different carriers...

Thank you so much for your answer. I'm very sorry about my bad english, i will try to be more understandable. I mean, for example, you travel all the day with one alliance, but, with differente company and win miles. So, what do you think about this transfer of miles? This system work easily? You're happy?

Thanks so much for all your answers!!!

You do not transfer miles between programs. You just need to provide the partner carrier with your frequent flyer number, and the miles will be credited there. For example, provide Delta with your FlyingBlue number and some time after the flight it will credit to your FB account.

Do you have a specific question about this?

Thank you so much for this explication, but i know it. I just want to know what do you think about this system? All your feeling is very important :)

It is better than not being able to.

Travelling on airlines within an alliance means you do not need to have different miles with different carriers.

Still not sure what your 'important question' actually is.

Do you currently travel frequently on multiple carriers?
Or are you planning on travelling on multiple carriers in future?

No I don't really, and it doesn't sound like you understand how it works either.

No.

Not to be rude, but perhaps you'd be better off finding a forum in your native tongue, or perhaps look in the country/region specific forum here on FT where people who speak your native tongue might be able to answer you.

I can't understand you, and I speak four languages fluently.

No.

A guess: you want to combine miles?

Answer to that: Also no, must credit to same airline by choosing when you buy a flight.

Guess my guess was right.

Use one and only one programs number.

Par exemple: use Air France number for Alitalia flight.

Of course use Air France number for Air France flight.

He answered, transfer of miles between programmes is either impossible or you lose lots of miles.

This is not an appropriate post for the Mileage Run Forum. I also understand that it is posted in the Information Desk Forum. I will be moving it there shortly.

It doesn't matter how we feel. It is what it is. You can credit different flight within the same alliance to one ffp.

This is much better, but you seem to be asking about a survey of people's opinions, not asking for advice. For me the system works well as I can avoid "wasting" the miles when I must fly on some other airline, such as AF/KLM rather than DL.

I understood Paulairs message better in French than in English.
