NRT Delta connecting flight question?
Looking to book a flight all on delta from mco to bkk. The flight makes its second connection at NRT it says the lay over is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Can someone tell me when we land at NRT for connection do we have to go through secruity? Also are the delta international connecting flights in same terminal or do we have to take a shuttle to another area?
I hate rushing through airports so i want to make sure the 2 and a half hours is enough time to take flight to bkk |
Looks like you have since found the Japan forum. That would be the proper place for your question. You may also want to check out the following thread from the Delta forum
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...ve-thread.html 2.5 hours is more than enough time. Transit security should take less than 30 min depending on how busy it is when you land. |
Thank you . Do you know of i will have to pick up bags and re check them on?

As a DL TPAC flyer and NW before that I transit NRT 20+ times per year.
NRT was the Asia hub for NW and DL. It use to (but less so now) be the gathering point of flight from various US departures and then redistribute the passengers to various SE Asian destinations. At NRT all connection/transit passengers deplane, go through a very efficient Japanese security and find themselves at the departure area with shops, food sales and Skyclubs. You have to take all your belongings even if you are on the same plane or flight number onward. All your checked bags are checked through to your destination. The longest time I experienced at NRT from plane A through security to plane B's departure gate has never been more than 30 minutes. |
Welcome to FlyerTalk… since you've posted your inquiry in the more appropriate destination forum, and since crossposting is prohibited by the FlyerTalk Rules, this thread is now closed to further discussion.
