Birmingham, AL to India

I am trying to figure out the best way to fly from BHM to Bom and return from Delhi. I am open to flying thru ATL, ORD, NYC, or any other reasonable connection. I plan to use miles and fly J or First. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Depends on which airline miles you are planning to use.

If it is DL you can do ATL-CDG-BOM and return DEL-CDG-ATL with ATL-CDG in DL and CDG - India in AF

If it is AA you can do ORD-BRU-BOM and return DEL-ORD with ORD-BRU in AA and BRU-BOM in 9W and DEL-ORD in AA direct flight.

AA you can do JFK-BRU-BOM and return DEL-BRU-JFK with JFK-BRU either AA or 9W and BRU-India in 9W.

You could try 9W's F product (if its still on...not sure, I think they only have it on their LHR routes), but if you plan on using miles, I think you may end up with a poorer deal.

If you have enough AA miles, check partner availability on Cathay Pacific.

You can do ATL-BOM direct in the lie-flat suites - I'm doing that flight in a few weeks. Return either through BOM to ATL on the same, or one of the options listed above.
