Car/Driver Recs for Delhi
Hi everyone- I'll be visiting Delhi at the end of december after a very long time, and would like to book a car and driver for a few days, mostly to take my family from our hotel to see various relatives. I haven't had to do this in so long that my information is out of date - does anyone have any recommendations?

These days, Uber and Ola work quite well. They are likely to be cheaper if booked point-to-point because they don't have to wait while you visit relatives.
Indeed you can also book them for a block of time (4 hrs, 6 hrs, etc.)---that is typically more expensive than a car and driver from an agency, but still not so expensive, and you don't have to book in advance so that is convenient.
Booking specific drivers from specific agencies---I have done that also, but I stopped years ago (maybe around the time of your last visit!). Might still be useful if you need a SUV or some such, Uber/Ola availability can be spotty for anything other than standard size cars.

Uber, Ola is definitely the way to go. Booking a driver for the day will be expensive & if you still feel like doing so then just ask your hotel to set it up for you. Most hotels have their own cars as well as have tie-ups with various cab companies, which tend to be cheaper than the hotel cars.

Just wanted to provide a recommendation for Manoj Kasana who we booked for a 24 hour layover in Delhi. He picked us up at the Delhi airport at 9pm, drove us to Agra, and in the morning had a really amazing guide for us for the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort for a 5:30 AM start! He then drove us back to the Delhi airport in the late evening. Spoke perfect English, very funny, and extremely knowledgeable. I believe he is the top rated Delhi driver on TripAdvisor. Very comfortable ride and his vehicle was loaded with snacks and cold waters. Feel free to let him know Brent said hello!
