Jet Airways Fare difference question
I plan to purchase a ticket from Udaipur to Jaipur. My country of residence is the U.S. I looked at Jet Airways' U.S. and India sites. The India site offered cheaper fare, and the difference was about 300 rupees. Is it okay for me to buy the ticket from the India site even though I live in the U.S.?

I cannot believe that people would make a big deal of six dollars.. Lunch alone on a average Indian Buffet cost $15..
Why make trouble for $6? Now if the difference was $100, then it's a problem.

You can take the person out of India but you cant take the Indian out of him!
just for the record, my opinion is stuff the six dollars, not worth the aggro especially if you live and earn in the west!

Prices
The price differenc is due to the fact that the average Indian earns a fraction of what you od - as a result they can purchase cheaper tickets than 'foreigners'. If you try to purchase on the Inian site you may fin they will only accept a credit card issued in India, or may request your Inian ID card/residency permit at check-in. If you can't provide this they'll ask you to pay the difference between Rs and $ fare. You may also find your baggage allowance is less.
