LH 756 is one of the shortest India-FRA flights. Imagine MAA-FRA in a 10-11h leg with everyone of the 390 seats 9old config) in a 744 occupied and you get the picture.

I just did MAA-FRA in LH F on purpose recently (due to the longer flight, for some good sleep), and the F service sucked - food was terrible...

LH's food in F to/from India leaves a lot to be desired. I find myself stuffing myself at the LH F lounges on arrival at FRA/MUC because any decent real food to my liking is missing in-flight. The service, from the FAs, in-flight has otherwise been fine despite the LH F seats needing an overhaul and the food product being disappointing.

MAA-FRA - LH 759 on a 744 is actually 4720 miles, and exactly (given the german love for precision, exactly is a word i feel safe using there) 9:55 hrs duration.

AF201 MAA-CDG is a good bit more - 10:25 hrs, 4980 miles.

Lucky that both these flights are night flights, starting off past midnight so that you're not going to want to eat anything at all on the plane. And especially not the fried cheese + vegetable balls or chicken kebabs at the MAA lounges.

LH Y is those horrible old metal framed yellow and gray seats .. LH C and F are lie flat, not too bad at all. So pick what you can afford and what lets you sleep. [AF Y is what i have been flying for the last year or so despite the extra one hour hop - much more comfortable seats]

How I wish they'd status match -- I had tried a year ago -- no luck. Was NW Plat then -- now that I am US Plat as well, maybe I should try again.
