EK partnership has ended so you can neither earn or burn.

On CX you can not earn and burn on HKG-India-HKG routes, you can still earn and burn on other routes.

Effective 11th April 2018, JetPrivilege members will not earn JPMiles on flights between India and Hong Kong which are marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific or by Cathay Dragon. For example, JetPrivilege members travelling between Mumbai – Hong Kong, Delhi – Hong Kong and Chennai – Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific and/or Cathay Dragon will not be eligible for accrual of JPMiles. JetPrivilege members will continue to earn JPMiles on rest of the network of Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon. There are no changes in award bookings and JetPrivilege members can continue to book award tickets on entire network of Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon.

I think you can still redeem JP miles on CX's HKG-India routes from what the last sentence says.

But 9W doesn't allow you to burn JP miles on routes they fly right? So you cannot burn on those routes too.

Also I'm looking at a current booking on 9W.... it's allowing me to select EY to credit miles to. I'm unable to post the screen shot.

And yes you can credit to EY.

I meant EK... Their website still allows me to select EK as my FFP for my ticket.....
