Check Jet Award Availability Please...

Looking for award availability (2 seats):

1/25/2014 AMD - DEL and AMD - BOM

I'll be using UA Miles to book these as part of a longer itinerary.

Thank you.

Thank you! Anybody know why UA says they can't see any availability on 9W for these flights? Does 9W differentiate betwen 9W Miles and Partner Miles for redemption?

Well, Jet hardly gives their partners any award seats anymore...

Thanks! Just to confirm -- is that award availability or raw seat availability in business and economy? I am trying to get a connector flight from BOM to TRV using a United Award Ticket, but I am having trouble getting a United agent to figure out how to do this. I was able to do something similar last summer (IAH-FRA-DEL on LH and DEL-BOM-TRV on 9W) but it doesn't seem possible anymore? Any advice?

Thanks!

Award seat availability.. for raw seat you won't need anyone's help.. you can simply go to JetAirways.com and check..

good luck with your booking..

What is the trouble? You are trying to book all of this on a single ticket, right? Is the agent not able to see the availability on 9W?

I seem to get varying responses from different agents, primarily because not many of them are aware that something like this can be done. The closest I got to an answer was with one agent who said that United miles can be used on 9W flights BUT, the caveat was that the flight had to be within 24 hours from the time of ticketing...that didnt really sound correct to me but it was the best I could do.

I really don't want to wait until 24 hours before travel and risk getting stuck and paying $300+ for a domestic leg....I'd rather pay the luggage fee and call it a day but it would still be nice to try to get it all on one ticket.

I just get the feeling that there is some specific fare code or process that the agents have to do to see/request award availability on 9w? Does it have to be done independently of the other travel and then they merge the two PNR? I am very new to this so any help from others in my situation is greatly appreciated!

It's pretty strange. 9W is stingy with their award availability in J and F towards partners, but Y should not be a problem to book. I think you are getting pretty unlucky with the UA customer service lotto. I would just keep calling back until you get someone who books this for you, since it should be possible.

I am trying to redeem 2 business class seats BRU-DEL or DEL-BRU in July but being able to see only 1 award seat available in business class in 9W although many seats seem to be available for purchase. Is this normal? Any chances of getting 2 seats?

very normal....2 seats in première on the same flight are extremely rare....especially on this route....

Trying to figure out the FLying returns redemption process.. anyone could advice on the following, plz:

1. If I transfer miles from Amex MR India account, to my flying returns account, how many days does it usually take to appear on the account ??

2. How do you determine the tax on any flight.. the website is not showing me anything.. for e.g I am looking for BLR-CCU in march (around 11th).

3. How do you see/check availability ??

4. How do I actually book it.. the online functionality doesn't seem to work..

I am planning to go to Athens ultimately and have a large chunk of JP miles expiring next year so wanted to use them. But my trip is not yet confirmed and redeeming on partners is not cancellable.

Can anybody give any suggestion on how to use JP miles in such situation?
