i can't even imagine how many 9w flights a year members of my firm must be taking....if i were to take a guess it would be in the thousands....i don't know if i would be considered a vvip flyer by the airline but by your definition i would....i take about a hundred flights a year & am the key decision maker of which airline & hotel my team uses....i have been doing this for many years & always travel in business or first when traveling for work....but when i travel on my own dime then its always in economy....in my last 7-8 years as platinum i have only received 2 upgrades in total....one was because the airline messed up my reservation & then upgraded me to make it up to me & the other was on a short 30 minute flight from pnq-bom....

i have no doubt that 9w keeps a profile of its regular customers but i still do not believe the one pass booklet would have any bearing on upgrades....

Going by your profile, You are definitely a VVIP flyer, and I know someone who has a similar profile to yours, and I can say with CERTAINTY even though his sister, nephew, BIL buy Eco tickets, they get upgraded quite often on both Domestic and International sectors (Especially international). His BIL uses the booklets / coupons and is upgraded about a third of the time. Maybe size matters, he is kinda huge.

if the airline sees someone as a vvip then they will definitely favour them over other passengers but once again i doubt it has anything to do with the booklet....they would end up getting preferential treatment whether they use the booklet, miles or any other method to buy their tickets....

Is the one fare pass still around? Can't see any mention on the 9W website anymore under the special offers...

Very surprising sir!

i have received more upgrades than that and i fly on 9W a lot less frequently. i am just a measly silver! Perhaps press accreditation helps?

I dont think the One fare Pass coupons will help improve chances of upgrades.

Dont know the latest, but when they first came out with these, One Fare Pass for Premiere was a great VFM deal, for economy not so much: especially as Sahara was firing off on all guns with their fare wars! Has situation changed now?

Don't see it anywhere. :(

Just paid 19k for a last minute economy ticket this week between Del and Bom. Wish the coupons were still around.

Thanks for the update.

JetKonnect lists OneFare Pass, albiet with the validity stated as 30th Sept, 2013: http://www.jetkonnect.com/in/onefarepass.aspx

What was the procedure to get these coupons? There seems to be no link on their websites. If an offline option (besides the phone-line) did exist earlier, I wouldn't mind attempting to cross check.
