And if they keeping dishing out these awards at 2.5k a pop, they'll probably have nothing but fumes left to carry on. Do the levy fuel surcharges at least? (even if AA etc don't on domestics....?) Wonder how much they have to reimburse the operating carrier on these...? |

Flights betw the cities in the zone, for 2500 Miles. But when you look at, for some similar short(er) segments, the 15K miles are required. care to post the link.. ?? (SCRATCH THAT).. I found the whole darn ppt with all the mileage requirements, blah blah.. cant figure out how old it is, but Im guessing it's current... anyway to put it here, for others who might need it..??? |

Um, i dont see JFK, LGA etc even listed in the dropdown on the JetPaise online partner award request form, forget about seeing the miles requirement - most of the ones i looked showed as 15k. Am i missing something, or do i need better glasses!

Following up from Whizkid's post, it seems most of US and Canada are divided into 8 zones (Zone Z-15 to Z-22).. and flights within the cities in Z-15, Z-16, Z-17, Z-18 are for 5k miles, return.. but anything within the zones for others, or from one zone to the other is a flat 30k miles return..
Depending on how far u wanna fly, this can give some great value on Jet Pesos.. ah.. im getting that feeling of a day well spent.. |

Had to do a bit of clean up above. For any questions about the how/why/when of suspensions, please have a look at Ft ToS and / or PM Babu or me for clarifications.
Thanks, AJLondon Mod - IbA |

All partner awards to be booked on phone or thru downloading the request form on the website and then sending it across to JP. Response received by email usually.
Has anyone been successful in booking the awards immediately over the phone? |

When I tried calling their US call center number to book partner awards, I was told that it was not possible to do it over the phone. I would have to send the details over email and it would take them 2-3 working days to revert back to me.

Does anyone know any other city pairs in the US other than the limited ones offered in their chart with the 5K RT price? What about the 1000 other cities in the USA, in general, that aren't listed on the chart? Any idea? On can theoretically get off en route in one of AAs/US Air's hubs on a one way.

I want to use some miles for a flight from SFO to YVR on AA and since both are within one group
Denver, Minneapolis St Pl, San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver i would expect to pay 2.5k miles and around 10$ fees, right? However, i found no direct flights from SFO to YVR on AA, so my question, is it still only 2,5k miles, even if there is a stopover at another airport, for example LAX? Thanks! |

So in the end it might be cheaper to fly *A and United with higher taxes using a direct flight and using 2,5k miles, right?
