The latest I could find is from Bloomberg saying that Kingfisher will put up it's brands as collateral for more loans. The article also says that Jet Airways is also in the red. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-1...ion-loans.html

Looks like wait-and-see is the only strategy to take at the moment. My flights are on Saturday and then again on 5 January. I have travel insurance through my Lufthansa credit card so I guess if it gets cancelled and I have to buy new flights, I can at least try to make a claim...

OK, just got the dreaded call from Kingfisher. They cancelled my flight but told me they combined the passengers on a later flight due to lack of demand. This makes me miss my TRV connection but they told me I could get a refund for my flights. Looks like I will switch to 9W or lug my extra stuff around that I was planning to leave in Pune and pick up on the way back so I can fly out of BOM back to FRA as the connections from CCJ to BOM are better than CCJ-PNQ. Any other tips for getting down to Kerala from Pune?

Does Kingfisher offered to book in any other carrier or allows re-routing from the original booking?

Is that 15 more, or 15 already grounded?
