Iberia Plus Avios
I was trying to do an award booking from Iberia's web site using Avios. Unfortunately, I kept getting error after error. I've had problems with the Iberia Plus web site before, and so have others (judging from this forum).
Question -- is there any downside to transferring all my Iberia Plus Avios to BA/Qatar? Does the Iberia web site show award inventory (when it's working!) that it's corporate parent BA does not?
FWIW, I'm primarily interested in biz class award trips between the US and South Asia (or possibly the US and Europe, but not Spain specifically). Iberia's web site should (in theory) show a monthly calendar for award flights (which BA doesn't right now), but I can't get it to work. BA's web site isn't prefect by any means, but at least it works!
Apologies if this is a silly question!

There are no Iberia flights to South Asia. And all partner awards booked via IB+ are non-changeable and non-cancellable.
So, no, there is no downside to moving Avios to BA or Qatar. In fact there is only upside...
