Vueling?

Will be flying into BCN on a Delta BE award ticket and now my wife wants to see Sevilla. Is Vueling a part of Iberia and if I purchase one of these low cost tickets what are the negatives?
It loks like I can do 2 rt tickets for about $250 US and trains are much more.
Sugestions?

Hi,

Vueling is a low cost airline but it is much better than others.

They assigned seats and paying a supplement you can get some preferred seating.

You have to pay for drinks,...as in other LCC.

I am not a great fun of it but I have used it a few times in the last 18 months and very likely I will do it again in the future.

I flew Seville to Barcelona with them a few weeks ago. I actually bought an IB ticket and used the lounge which is so tiny and very bare. For some reason IB will not let you check in with them for a Vueling flight. Seats are very cramped and I somehow ended up with all 3 seats in the emergency exit row. Flight is short so just squeeze in and hold your breath.

I have also booked a flight with IB-code but operated by Vueling.

Asked the lounge dragon at Stockholm Menzies lounge about the access and she showed me a peace of paper where was stated that ONLY Iberia tier members have lounge access when flying Vueling with IB-code 5xxx.
Is anyone able to confirm this ?????
