TARGETED? - Diamonds - free night at a Hyatt Place / Summerfield - by 12/31/09
 

By happenchance, I found a free night at any Hyatt Place in my promotional awards. I've no idea when it was posted or why, but another diamond has reported the same to me. It's valid til the end of the year any night of the week. Has every diamond received this? Did anyone get an email from Hyatt explaining it?

The Ts&Cs also mention a free night at Andaz, but I see no award from them.

I do wish that Hyatt would not post these until after they send out an e-mail though - we've been getting quite a few "mystery" awards lately.

It may be planned by Hyatt. They know people on FT will notice these awards and talk about them.

Curses, there's one MORE night I have to stay to earn a FFN. Pretty sneaky of those guys! :D

Wow! Thanks for posting. I never would have thought to look for that. I was able to use it for a $215 room during my child's college parents' weekend. You wonderful people on FT have saved me sooo much $!!

oh i got it too. I would have never thought to look either. I wonder why no email was sent (or maybe it was and i didn't notice it and deleted it).

If the Andaz night comes through, i'm not sure if i'd use it, at least if the expiration will also be 12/31/09

I lost almost five months to redeem and - greedy as I am - I am looking forward of another free night at an Andaz hotel!
