New hyatt.com (redesigned)
.... just came back on-line with a new look.
|
Just made my first reservation... so far so good. I like it!
|
Two steps back. Can not see point detail and nolonger able to see list of reservations upcoming. Give me the "old" website please!
|
Thank goodness. If you do like the old website click the gold passport.com link in the upper right area.
|
I love the little labels that come up on the pictures
"Man and woman at hotel lobby desk" "Man surfing at resort" |
I like the new search options.
|
Showing a range of dates and rates is nice on a per property basis.

As to list of upcoming reservations, I think that is a glitch, because the link is there on the home page where it used to be. Itjust that the page doesn't pop up. (for me, anyway) |
I thought I was on the wrong sight for a moment. ;)
|
The new website is still not operating properly.
I hate how you have to click twice before seeing your account details and you still cannot get upcoming reservations. it just goes blank with a done at the bottom. And my clients are still not getting points for prepaid hyatt.com rates. when will they fix that!!! |

I'm just grateful that I am one of the fortunate ones. I'm getting points for prepaid hyatt.com rates, but not the MC notation (on all reservations made for this FFN period before 8/31/05). I'm sure GP CS is getting tired of me, but Hyatt's software......... |
Getting open file notice for FFN
seems to be a glitch when i check some properties for FFN Availability--like Paris. I get a box that asks me to open a file. Some other times, like London, I get a screen saying "available rooms" but no details to actually click on and book the room. But I like the new design!
|
I haven't been able to even check for FFN or awards on the new site. I did report it to the diamond line.
|
On mine it no longer even shows the next 3 upcoming reservations - its blank.
Only way is through the new web site portion (not Gold Passport) but to get them it require the entry of the Credit Card or Reservation number to submit. When entering your CC the list does come back but not ordered in sequence of stay date. The old list did order by stay date which was much nicer.

I just called the Diamond line and told them about this. I have 10+ reservations that I am trying to juggle around for an upcoming trip and this is annoying (especially considering I had come to rely on this web site feature and had not written down any of the confirmation codes). They tried to get me to log in and out, etc. Finally I told them there are a number of people on flyertalk complaining about the same thing. They are escalating to the IT folks, but I'm not holding my breath |
