Quote: Sorry for the confusion, based on what you were saying, that you don't even have a 2024 Milestone Awards section...you won't have the little arrow. They are going to need to put in an entirely new section for you. For me, since I already had a pending 2024 award, I had the 2024 award section, so they needed to add an additional arrow after I crossed my milestone.
Tonight, on the "overview" page on the app, an additional "2024 Milestone Rewards" line has appeared above the "2025 Milestone Rewards" one, and when I expanded it, I can see the 50-night milestone award choice. It says I can choose by Apr 12, 2025. If I make my choice after March 1st, does that mean the suite upgrade awards will have an extra year before expiration?

I also got another Free Night Award based on the extra credit card night credits posted, as expected.

No, waiting until March will do nothing extra. Since its already the new year if you choose the 50 night Milestone as Suite Awards today they will be valid until February 28th 2027. They already receive the extra year of validity.

As the other poster already said, the extension on the awards happened on January 1.

Other than that, there is really no reason to delay selecting an award unless it is the 2K Next Stay Award or reaching a milestone award after October 3, and you are not in a rush to select the CAA and/or SUA.

That is interesting how you were able to hit the 50 EQN milestone at the same time as hitting the 15K spend on the CC. That is like the opposite of me, I am usually hitting my 15K CC spend FNA way before I hit any milestone rewards haha.

That depends on how much you spend on Hyatt CC. I try to time my 15k spending to as late in the year as possible so the free night will last the longest.

+1. Actually, this wasn't my 1st 15k spending for the year, and I don't use my Hyatt CC much, not even with a Hyatt stay all the time. It depends on whether I prefer more Hyatt points, Chase points or cash rebate on the 3 cards I mainly use.

Oh I understand, it was more of a commentary on how my WOH loyalty is definitely way more CC based in comparison. Definitely wished I traveled enough to reverse the trend haha.

my globalist is expiring this year. id like to carryover some goh for personal use. i recall free night awards being extendable in the past, but not sure if that was a covid thing or a permanent policy.

anyone have luck extending goh awards? any rules or guidelines to follow?

when i extended my fna the agent told me i would have to do it after my fna expired. ill probably call in day of expiry and see what happens.

If you wait for it to expire it will be wasted I promise you 100%.

Your FNA extension must have been 10 years ago because Ive been a Globalist for 8 years never once been able to extend them even as a one time thing. They do commonly give points for non-chase FNAs after expiration, not extension.

If it did get extended it was either VERY long ago or happened as a one time exception in 2020. That will not happen again unless another global pandemic happens.

The only way to have your Globalist benefits extend past your Globalist expiration date would be to make a lot of Legacy Guest of Honor bookings. These are points/fnas only though and cannot be changed after your status expires.

How many points is a Cat4 through the CC or Cat7 as globalist? Any idea?

0 for Cat1-4 from CC
20k for Cat1-7, but many MHC have been telling people that it's a one-time exception.

Credit card free nights are not exchangeable for points. For free nights earned as milestone awards, see this thread for more information.

GOHs cannot be extended.

If you have a FNA, you can trade it on social media for 3-4 GOHs valid until 2026...
